Hip plates, knee plates with screws, dynamic hip / condylar screws
Hip plate is determined for operations of proximal femur, mainly fractures of all parts of the neck. It enables to catch a bone fragment in the area of small trochanter. The plate cannot be operated solo, only in connection with Dynamic screws, bone screws and compression screws (that can be but does not have to be applied). The same is also valid for knee plate that is suitable for osteosynthesis of distal femur. Introduction of hip or knee plate is done with help of special MEDIN instrumentation.
Usage of hip plates: petrochanteric fractures, petrochanteric multifragment fractures, fractures of femoral neck, intertrochanteric fractures.
Usage of condylar plates: intercondylar fractures, supracondylar fractures, unicondylar fractures, subtrochanteric fractures.
Plates are made of implant steel ISO 58321E.
